A lovely game of football was played today at Stamford Bridge when their hometown Blues faced off against the young, impressive Shakhtar Donetsk! It was a fantastic game of football with back and forth action! Fernando Torres lead off the game with a goal in the 6' when Pyatov, Donetsk's goalkeeper made an error clearing the ball and Torres rushed up to deflect the ball straight into the net. However a few minutes after Willian of Shakhtar scored the equalizer! Both teams played great football passing the ball effectively and in the 40' when Pyatov came out to punch the ball to clear it off of a swinging Juan Mata cross, Oscar took advantage of Pyatov's distance away from the goal and hit a long volley with great technique to score in the wide open goal net!In the 2nd half Willian against capitalized off of a slacking Chelsea defense to equalize the game yet again, now at 2. The game calmed down a bit and seemed as if it would end a tie. However in the last seconds of the match Chelsea drew a corner kick. Juan Mata crossed it in and who else other than Victor Moses who came on as a substitute scores a header to win the game for Chelsea! Stamford Bridge erupted and it brought an end to a fantastic game of football!
