Pin It It has been an absolute disaster of a start for Rafael Benitez as Interim Manager of Chelsea Football Club. The club sit third in the EPL table but the fight to stay in the top 4 is definitely on! The season started off perfectly for the club and its supporters. Fantastic form and positive results were very consistent. After the controversial clash with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge it has all gone so horribly wrong. Chelsea are currently 17th in the EPL in current form, Roberto Di Matteo has been sacked, Fernando Torres excellent start to the season has now turned in to yet another goal drought and come Wednesday evening Chelsea may very well be the first Champions league winners to fail to reach the knockout stage the following year.
