Blues target Loic Remy has no plans to leave Marseille during the January transfer window. The France international was close to joining Chelsea in the summer but a mooted move fell through as Daniel Sturridge opted to stay at Chelsea with Liverpool being interested in his services. With just two senior strikers in the form of Sturridge and Fernando Torres, Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo is keen to add more firepower to his team. The Italian strengthened his squad in the summer by bringing in several midfielders but failed to replace their talismanic forward, Didier Drogba. Remy, who has also been linked with Liverpool in recent weeks, was being targeted by Di Matteo in the summer and the Blues look set to rekindle their interest in the French forward.
