I think it’s safe for us to say that Benitez is not the future for Chelsea. I get the feeling though that he’s done enough in the job to get him back on the market and give him the chance of a decent job. There’s even a few rumours that he’s going to replace Mourinho at Madrid, sounds a bit odd for Chelsea fans but he was once a coach of their B team and is still respected for his achievements with Valencia and Liverpool in his homeland.
