Predict360: All eyes on Sunday as Arsenal host Man Utd

First things first ,we must say congratulations to Manchester United for wrapping up a 20th league title with plenty of time to spare. It’s been far from a vintage Premier League season, but kudos must go to Sir Alex Ferguson’s men for a job thoroughly well done.

And now the Red Devils are gunning for the prestigious double with the Predict360 title firmly in Moe’s sights. Having stretched his lead by a further point following last week’s matches, Moe is in the driving seat to take home the crown and local bragging rights.

It was another good week for our Arsenal man Ted who is putting together a late season charge to thrust himself into contention; another three points for predicting Arsenal’s single goal win at Fulham his latest maximum point week.

Of course, the big game this week sees Moe travelling to the in-form Ted and while United have already sealed the title, the clash at the Emirates Stadium is sure to be a good’un.

CURRENT LEAGUE TABLE (after 31 rounds)
Man United (Moe) – 30pts
Tottenham (Simon) – 25
Man City (Darren) – 24

Arsenal (Ted) – 23
Liverpool (Obaydah) – 22
Chelsea (Shivam) – 19
Everton (Mark) – 19

TED TOTSIDIS - @TedTots (Arsenal)

What went wrong last week? Technically, absolutely nothing went wrong last week. My 0-1 prediction for an Arsenal away win at Fulham drew some scepticism by the Sports360 lads, however I stuck to my guns and it paid off and now I’m back in the mix after much time spent at the bottom end of the table.

This week: On Sunday afternoon, Arsenal host newly crowned champions Manchester United and much has been made about the guard of honour the Gunners are required to give them. I'm neither for nor against this gesture in general, although the thought of Robin van Persie being applauded by the very team he captained a mere eight months ago and then abandoned only makes me feel sick to my stomach.

Talk in the forums suggests Arsenal fans will "Poznan" to this guard, as will I when watching on the big screen at Barasti and I only hope this motivates the team to go on and win the match. We are currently the in form team of the league so I see us snatching this one on very tight margins.

I predict an early Arsenal goal, followed by an equalizer by United and then a huge winner by none other than future captain Jack Wilshere to drive home his loyalty to the club. Arsenal 2 - 1 Manchester United

SHIVAM MANGHNANI - @ShivamLM (Chelsea)

Shivam is unavailable this week to provide his usual full preview but he has got in touch to offer a prediction. Unsurprisingly he’s gone for a comfortable Chelsea win. Chelsea 3-1 Swansea

MARK SCHUMANN - @MarkSchuey (Everton)

What went wrong last week? Disaster. A 1-0 loss to Sunderland put an end to any lingering hopes of Champions League football. It's days like this that make you just put your head in your hands and shake your head as a football fan.

This week: We welcome Fulham to Goodison Park today and I am hopeful of picking up three points to maintain a challenge for fifth spot, more importantly staying ahead of Liverpool. Fulham haven't been that great this season, but in Dimitar Berbatov they have a quality goal scorer capable of turning any match around. That said, I think Everton will be too strong today. Everton 3-1 Sunderland

Of course, if Phil Neville replies to my tweet then I will go with his prediction :-)

OBAYDAH AL-NAMER - @LFCArabia (Liverpool)

What went wrong last week? Luis Suarez should have been allowed to score that 97th minute equaliser. What he did was unacceptable and appalling, but on the other hand the decision of the FA panel was shocking, although he deserves a ban, 10 games is a lot. Having said that, I do think we will cope without him during this period. Otherwise, it was an entertaining game, with the Messiah coming back home and no one other than Suarez scoring a well taken injury time header.

This week: Newcastle are fighting relegation. Liverpool have nothing to lose or win. After their defeat against Sunderland in the local derby a fortnight ago, I expect the barcodes to go out there at St James Park - sorry the Sports Direct Arena - all guns blazing.

Like this time last year, there is little to reach for, to push our players on, we are most certainly in a better place and a better frame of mind than were 12 months ago! And that is why I am doing something I very rarely do; predict a defeat for Liverpool. Newcastle 2-1 Liverpool

Good news for LFC fans: After the Suarez witch hunt by the media last week, it's refreshing to learn that Qatari Telecommunications company Ooredoo is in talks with the mighty reds to sponsor the team and win the naming rights for Anfield in a multi million deal.

DARREN BALL - @AbuDhabiDaz (Man City)

What went wrong last week? City were a shambles again last week which saw Spurs take the points in a 10 minute game. Edin Dzeko once again lived up to his nickname of the lamppost with movement that would make any statue proud.

This week: City host the Irons today in the early kick off. Nothing really at stake only the security of second place and to link that with a possible FA Cup win it becomes a decent season. Andy Caroll has scored more goals against City than any other Premier League team I understand (I know!) so with that in mind and City players looking to impress for a trip to Wembley, I expect a hefty win for the Citizens. Manchester City 4-0 West Ham

MOHAMMED ANABTAWI - @MoeAnabtawi (Man Utd)

What happened last week? Congratulations to Manchester United and all of our supporters across the Universe! Champions again in style! Hat-trick by Robin van Persie and a superb team performance by the Reds. Michael Carrick was immense as usual, Phil Jones was phenomenal and last but not least, Wayne Rooney looks more and more fitting for that midfield role. Well done United! I am very proud.

This week: With United winning the league, I can’t wait to see the Reds play their last four matches with no pressure. I am not going to lie, it will still be awesome seeing Arsenal give us the guard of honor. Giggsy has 13 titles, the same amount as Arsenal! Insane! Fergie will still want to put out a relatively strong team and mix a blend of youth and experience against the Gunners.

Sir Alex would like to give it a go and go for 96 points by the end of the season. If the Reds just enjoy their football until the end of the season we will end up with the 96 points. Come on United #CHAMP20NS Arsenal 2-3 Manchester United

SIMON THURSTON - @SimonPThurston (Tottenham)

What went wrong last week? The pattern of the game went exactly as I predicted, with Spurs looking to punish City on the counter. I really did feel with Defoe, Bale and Lennon back that we would cause problems, and although the latter was not available, it didn't matter. Three goals in seven second-half minutes were enough to dethrone last season's champions. Shame I only went for 2-1 ;-).

This week: A visit to the DW Stadium might look a comfortable fixture on paper, but the Latics are the Premier League's perennial relegation escape artists, and again find themselves in the bottom three at the business end of the season. Their achilles heel is scoring (37 goals), with only two clubs finding the net less so far this term (Villa and QPR).

Conversly, Spurs are joint-second top scorers away from home, and with Wigan having the worst home defence of anyone in the top flight, I'm hoping this trend continues. Spurs have won five and drawn two of their nine Premier League games at Wigan, and with our attacking threat, particularly on our travels, I am predicting another 'w' this time around. Wigan 0-2 Tottenham
