Speculation is mounting that Jose Mourinho will return to Chelsea this summer - with Radamel Falcao following him to Stamford Bridge as a "special welcome gift".
German daily Bild, which broke the news of Mario Gotze's impending summer switch from Borussia Dortmund to Bayern Munich, claims a deal to take Mourinho back to the club "is almost certain".
The Portuguese led the Blues to their first league title in 50 years back in 2005 before his three-year reign came to an unceremonious end after a fall-out with owner Roman Abrahmovich.
The two men have since resolved their differences and it now looks increasingly likely that Mourinho will return to the Stamford Bridge hotseat after three years at Real Madrid.
Mourinho's future at the Bernabeu has been a subject of plenty debate for much of the campaign with Madrid failing to keep pace with arch rivals Barcelona in La Liga and reports of dressing room unrest.
Tuesday night's 4-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final - Mourinho's biggest ever defeat in Europe - is likely to hasten Mourinho's exit.

Paris Saint-Germain, who have themselves been linked with Mourinho, claimed earlier this month that Madrid have been chasing their current boss Carlo Ancelotti for "a long time".
Bild also claim that Falcao will follow Mourinho in swapping the Spanish capital for west London with a €60million all but agreed for the Colombian with Atletico Madrid.
Falcao, who is also advised by Mourinho's agent, Jorge Mendes, is well known to Blues fans having netted a stunning hat-trick in Atletico's 4-1 thrashing of the club in last August's UEFA Super Cup.
The 27-year-old has been linked with Manchester United among others, but with the newly-crowned Premier League champions focusing their efforts on Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski, Chelsea have emerged as his likely destination.
The arrival of the prolific frontman would place big question marks over the club's current record signing Fernando Torres.
The Spaniard has failed to live up to expectations following his £50m switch from Liverpool two years ago and has been linked with a return to Atletico, where he made his name, as part of the Falcao deal
However, the 29-year-old is determined to stay at the club and prove himself regardless of whether Falcao arrives or not.
"When you play for Chelsea, you're always hoping big players come and the big names are always being linked with the club," he said.
"You cannot stop that - especially when the summer comes. Every player is welcome at Chelsea, every top player.
"Since I came to Chelsea, only top players have come, so it would not be a surprise if we signed Falcao."
