Andre Schurrle could be the subject of a renewed transfer push by Chelsea in the January transfer window as Roman Abramovich prepares to give Rafael Benitez an alternative to Fernando Torres, the Daily Mirror has reported.Schurrle was a name under consideration by former manager Roberto Di Matteo over the summer as the Italian sought a powerful striker to replace Didier Drogba, the newspaper adds, but Chelsea scouts recently watched the 22-year-old Bayer Leverkusen forward.
