Pin It After three matches in the EPL this season Chelsea Football Club sit top of the table with 9 points. It is almost pointless to really take much from the standings this early in the season, but blues fans are happy to see their club is off to such a great start. It has been quite some time since Chelsea FC have been top of the table and it definitely does have a positive impact on the players and fans. The victory over Newcastle at Stamford Bridge was actually the best EPL performance I have witnessed from the boys in blue in quite some time. From the starting whistle to the end of the match Chelsea dominated the match. Newcastle rarely ever threatened Petr Cech in the Chelsea goal.
