FA charges United's Ferdinand over choc ice tweet

LONDON (Reuters) - Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has been charged over a comment about Twitter that referred to Chelsea's Ashley Cole because a "choc ice", the English FA mentioned about Monday. "The FA has now charged Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand with wrong conduct about comments posted about Twitter," the FA mentioned about its webpage (www.thefa.com) "The allegation is the fact that the player acted inside a technique that was wrong and/or purchased the game into disrepute by creating comments that included a reference to cultural origin and/or color and/or race. ......
