Report: Ramires out of Brazil friendlies with injury

There are reports in Brazil this evening that suggest that Ramires will be out of action for Brazil during the upcoming international break, while he remains in London to receive treatment on an injury. Lancenet is reporting that the midfielder is suffering from an adductor injury in his right thigh, and that he won't be able to take part for Brazil because of it.

Sambafoot is also reporting an injury concern for David Luiz. According to the website, the defender will subject to a fitness test before participating in either of the Brazilian friendlies. Luiz had to make way against West Ham this weekend due to the problem, and I'd imagine Chelsea would prefer that Brazil not select him if he's suffering at all.

Hopefully neither of these turn out to be anything serious, but with Brazil playing only friendlies and Chelsea having a packed fixture list coming up, it may be for the best that both get a nice two-week break regardless. If Oscar wants to stub his toe, I'd be fine with having him remain in London as well.
