Predict360: Man Utd & Chelsea in FA Cup showdown

It's a strange week for Predict360 with fixtures split between the FA Cup and the regular Premier League season, but with all teams in action - barring Arsenal - we decided to go ahead.

With no one predicting a correct score last week, there is little movement in our league table as Moe and Manchester United remain unmoved at the top of the pile. And it's United that feature in the glamour tie of the weekend when they host Chelsea in the FA Cup on Sunday.

CURRENT LEAGUE TABLE (after 24 rounds)

Man United (Moe) – 24pts

Liverpool (Obaydah) – 20

Tottenham (Simon) – 20

Man City (Darren) – 19

Chelsea (Shivam) – 16

Arsenal (Ted) – 14

Everton (Mark) – 14

SHIVAM MANGHNANI - @ShivamLM (Chelsea)

What happened last week? I thought we were decent against West Brom particularly in the first half when Oscar, Juan Mata and Eden Hazard started. But as has been the case a few times this season, we failed to get the second goal that would give us breathing space and yet again were thankful to Petr Cech.

Midweek though was a complete disaster. Fernando Torres once again did more defending for Steaua than he did attacking for us. Torres aside we still should have beaten them but no… we had to bring on our better players (read: Juan Mata) to do a lot of ball chasing and tire themselves out ahead of Sunday.

This week: Sunday is going to be a disaster, I can see it now. I like to have faith in my team but there is just something eminently wrong with Chelsea from top to bottom this season and for it to be rectified it needs to begin with the purging of Rafael Benitez; The Interim One.

I can see Manchester United having a lot of fun with our defence, and if our attacking play isn't quick enough we will struggle to even get into their box. I can see this result going only one way and there will be goals. Manchester United 3-0 Chelsea

MARK SCHUMANN - @MarkSchuey (Everton)

Mark has been unable to provide a full prediction but he did get in contact over Twitter to provide a score: Everton 2-1 Wigan

OBAYDAH AL-NAMER - @LFCArabia (Liverpool)

What happened last week? Itwas a brilliant all-round performance from the men in red including goals a plenty and a clean-sheet. Luis Suarez is now two goals clear at the top of the goal-scorers list and he deserves to win the best player award, simply sensational! Even Stewart Downing scored a goal!

This week: It would all be different scenario had we won the games against Aston Villa, West Brom and Arsenal, but as it is, Tottenham are in the driving seat for a Champions league slot and Liverpool and Arsenal need a miracle to qualify. With Spurs on a 12 game winning streak, and Liverpool scoring 12 goals in the last three games, it will be a game between two in-form sides.

The Reds have a new attacking dimension with their winter signings and Tottenham's defence will have a hard time dealing with our new-look strike force. Brendan Rodgers will have to figure out a plan to nullify their main attacking threat, Gareth Bale, who has excelled this year. A Super Sunday indeed and this game will be a good advert for the English game and Liverpool. Liverpool 3-1 Tottenham

DARREN BALL - @AbuDhabiDaz (Man City)

Similarly to Mark, Darren hasn't been able to provide his usual insight but sent over his score through Twitter. Manchester City 4-0 Barnsely

MOHAMMED ANABTAWI - @MoeAnabtawi (Manchester United)

What happened last week? I was very happy with both our performances and very proud of our lads. The only thing that went wrong was a shocking decision by the referee in the Real Madrid game. True, Sir Alex Ferguson could've made substitutions earlier, but the gaffer trusted the players and Luka Modric proved to be the difference in the final half hour.

This week: Sir Alex MUST rally his troops and get their heads on straight. If he wants the FA Cup badly the manager needs to set the tone. If they're in the right frame of mind I really fancy us winning big against Chelsea, if we're still affected by Tuesday I'm afraid we might get knocked out of the FA Cup. We need to bounce back and carry on with the double. Manchester United 3-1 Chelsea

SIMON THURSTON - @SimonPThurston (Tottenham)

What happened last week? Once again I got the right result but the wrong scoreline, having opted for a goal-fest at the Lane. Regardless, I think the manner of the victory confirmed to many that AVB's Spurs are for real this season. There is a belief and determination among the ranks that hasn't been seen for many years, and whilst their run-in is not easy, fourth (or even third) place is very much in their own hands now.

This week: Spurs and Liverpool are two of the seven clubs who have been ever-present in the Premier League since its inception 21 seasons ago. For many years, particularly prior the Premier League era, this fixture belonged to Liverpool, especially at Anfield. Recently it has been the Londoners who have enjoyed the greater success, and they have won six of the last nine league games between the pair, including a 2-1 win at White Hart Lane in November.

But the Reds appear to have invested wisely in the January transfer window and are now playing their best football of the season, pushing them up to seventh place. Both Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho have settled in and are contributing well already, and lately the team has been scoring for fun.

Spurs played on Thursday night and so get back into the thick of it straightaway. They'll be looking to extend a club record 12-match Premier League unbeaten run, and I'll think they'll do it, just. Liverpool 2-2 Tottenham
