Mourinho rules out Real Madrid exit; Ramos wants Busquets

Jose Mourinho has branded claims that has will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season as "nonsense".

Reports earlier this month claimed that the Portuguese had reached an agreement with Madrid president Florentino Perez to depart the Bernabeu in the summer.

Despite guiding the club to the last eight of the Champions League in their search for a 10th European Cup, poor form in La Liga - Madrid trail table toppers Barcelona by 13 points - and claims of dressing room unrest have severly underminded Mourinho's position.

Reported interest from Paris Saint-Germain has done little to quell the speculation surrounding Mourinhio's future as has the 50-year-old's public declaration of his desire to return to England sooner rather than later.

However, having only penned a contract extension until 2016 last month, Mourinho insists he has no intention of walking away from Madrid just yet.

"That's nonsense," Mourinho told RTP1 when quizzed on the supposed agreement he had to leave the club. "I have agreed or signing nothing to leave Real Madrid. The group at Real Madrid are as good as any other that I have had.

"I don't read the Spanish press, I don't watch Spanish television. It's hard to be Portuguese in Spain. Nothing affects me, nothing disturbs me, nothing motivates more than my own drive."

With a Copa del Rey final spot ensured, Mourinho's immediate focus is Madrid's Champions League quarter-final opponents Galatasaray.

The tie will see the former Chelsea and Inter Milan come up against three of his former charges - Didier Drogba, Wesley Sneijder and Hamit Altintop - but he's confident of coming out on top.

"We can win the Champions League," he added. "There are at least five candidates to win the Champions League."

Meanwhile, Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has revealed the one Barcelona player he'd most like to see in the famous white jersey and it's NOT Lionel Messi.

Instead Ramos, who is likely to pick up his 100th cap for Spain this weekend, would want compatriot and international colleague Sergio Busquets patrolling Madrid's midfield.

"There are a number of players I like, but the one we perhaps need is Busquets," Ramos told Cadena COPE.

"Xabi Alonso is playing too many matches now and we could do with a player like Busquets.

"There's also [Andres] Iniesta, but seeing him wearing the Madrid jersey is like [Lionel] Messi at Madrid: impossible..."
