Frank Lampard Insists MLS Move Would Not End England Career

Lampard ExitChelsea midfielder drops hint over America move.

Check in to San Marino vs England

Chelsea's Frank Lampard has insisted that a move to the MLS in America would not end his England career according to The Mirror.

The midfielder's current deal with Chelsea expires at the end of the season and reports have suggested the player may be tempted to follow in the footsteps of David Beckham and Thierry Henry by seeing out his career across the pond.

There remains bewilderment amongst Chelsea fans at the club's decision not to offer the star a new deal after he has put in some impressive performances this season.

No other player has scored more goals for the club in the Premier League this season, and Lampard recently went on to net his 200th goal for the club during the 2-0 victory over West Ham.

LA Galaxy are reportedly ready to offer Lampard a mega-bucks three year deal and the player believes he could continue to appear for the England national team while playing in the United States.

Lampard's international future will be his mind when he decides his next move with the World Cup in Brazil next summer just around the corner.

England boss Roy Hodgson may not agree with Lampard's sentiments though. He has previously been quoted as saying it would 'complicate matter' were to Lampard to be playing outside of Europe.
