Chelsea's senior squad were abysmal yesterday, bad enough that I'm just not going to re-watch that game under any circumstances. Luckily, the U18 side tends to play a far more entertaining brand of football than the absolute garbage we saw yesterday.
Today they'll be taking on the Derby County academy, with a date in the FA Youth Cup semifinal on the line. The official site did a short preview of the game today, and it will be shown live on Chelsea TV at 6:30 PM London time.
In other U18 news, Juventus defeated Rosenborg in the NextGen series yesterday, setting up a date with the Italian side in that tournament's quarterfinal. The official time and date are yet to be set for that one, but it will be shown on Eurosport for those of you with access.
