John Terry is attracting the attention of the money men in the United Arab Emirates with several clubs reported to be keen on offering the former England captain a lucrative end to his playing career.

Terry has been forced onto the fringes of the Chelsea team by interim-manager Rafael Benitez in recent weeks after suffering with injury this season.

That has alerted a number of clubs in the Middle East who are keen to add the Blues skipper to their ranks.

A source in region told the Sunday Mirror: 'There are a few clubs who could afford John Terry and his signing would be a massive coup over here.'

Terry has always stated his desire to end his playing days at Stamford Bridge but could be tempted by the money on offer.

He and his family regularly holiday in Dubai and negotiations over a new contract at Chelsea have yet to begin.
