Chelsea Captain John Terry Considering Fenerbahce Move

Terry LaughCentre-back weighing up summer options following offer from Turkey.

Chelsea's John Terry is reportedly considering his future at the club after Fenerbahce offered him the chance to move to Istanbul according to The Daily Mail.

The Turkish club are eager to bring in a couple of big name signings this summer as they look to compete with their bitter rivals Galatasaray, who brought in former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Dutch star Wesley Sneijder during the January transfer window.

Fenerbahce are keen to appease their fans with a name that carries similar weight and have approach Terry regarding a potential move at the end of the season.

Terry has found himself somewhat marginalised at the club this season under interim boss Rafa Benitez. The Spanish manager has used Terry sparingly since he suffered a knee injury in November, believing the former England captain to be incapable of playing numerous games in close succession.

Terry does not agree with the former Liverpool boss' view and with his contract due to expire at the end of next season, may well be tempted by a move to Turkey.

Much may depend on who the Stamford Bridge club bring in as their next permanent manager. Terry may well decide to stay should the club bring back Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho.
